I wish I had pictures to document...
Well Deacon never ceases to amaze me but Sunday afternoon took the cake. We have all been sick around the Frazee house here lately but Sunday he and Wood stayed home because he had thrown up Saturday night and I didn't want to take any chance that he might make the other kids in the nursery sick. So I come home from church Sunday morning to find them both still in their pj's which was fine because I was getting in mine too. I felt awful and wanted to try and catch a nap before I had to be back at church. Wood was great and entertained Deacon while I slept but for a few unsupervised minutes Deacon got a hold of a black magic marker (it said washable but I beg to differ). Wood found him coloring himself and when I say "himself "I mean body parts in which clothes had to be removed in order for him to color them. He colored his chest, his belly and completely colored the inside of his belly button. Remember this was a BLACK marker. He proceeded to take his pants and underwear off and color other parts of his body too (I won't spell them out but I think you know where I mean). I can only imagine the scene unfolding when Woody found what he had done and Wood told him do you want me to wake up your mother? And Deacon scared replied " No daddy don't wake up momma" he knew he would get a spanking when I saw what he had done. So a little while later he comes in with his shirt off and taps me on the arm (I was still asleep) and says, " Momma look, I colored my belly and my peepee! Still a little half dazed I couldn't believe what I was seeing but yes it was as he said and yes he had black marker all over himself including the parts mention earlier. Needless to say that tubby wasn't quite as much fun as the usually are. I had to scrub him down pretty good to get it all off. He told me "Momma that hurts" and I replied to him, "maybe you will think next time before coloring yourself". Oh the things that our kids do. At least I guess it wasn't the walls. Hope this made you laugh although it was not funny at the time!:)
