So the title for this blog is a little strange so here is the story behind the title. This past Sunday night at church we observed the Lord's Supper and the deacons always go around to the nursery workers so that they make partake also. On the way home we always ask Deacon what he did in class and this Sunday night was no different accept Wood and I weren't expecting to hear what came out of Deacon's mouth. He said "Guess what?" "Miss Peggy drank Jesus blood" and to which I replied, "Really". And Deacon said, " Yep in a little cup". Wood and I tried not to laugh but then proceeded to try and explain the Lord's Supper to a 3 year old. This was not an easy task to say the least but we figured we would try and explain the best way we knew how for his little mind to understand. We told him that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and that we do this to remember what He did for us. And that it wasn't real blood just juice to represent blood. He seemed pleased with this answer and then said, "oh ok". The things we do and say when we think they are not looking or listening. I have learned in the last few months that Deacon does not miss anything and when I say anything I mean anything. Hope you have enjoyed my cute story and just remember they are watching and listening...
