Almost 27 weeks and the nasty drink!

Well I am almost 27 weeks along and boy has it been HOT! Thank heavens for cloud cover today. They say you have a bun in the oven, but it feels like my whole body has been in the oven lately. Not a whole lot to report...I did have another dr. appt. last Thursday and had to have the gestational diabetes test run. Yes the lovely drink they make you drink might as well been straight sugar water because it is so sweet it about makes you want to throw up. And on an empty stomach no less. So while waiting to go and get stuck I had my normal dr. appt. also and she says everything is running on schedule. She did say that she was already head down, but that will probably change many times before she actually gets here seeing that if feels like she is doing sommersalts (sp) in my belly. This little girl moves just as much as Deacon did which if this is any indication of what she will be like we are in for some good times. So I waited the hour it takes for the stuff to get through your system and went downstairs to the lab to have my blood drawn. Everything went smooth (she hit the vein on the 1st try so that was a plus) and I was back to work it no time. I had no longer gotten back to the office and at my desk when the lab tech called to tell me that she had forgotten to drawn one of the labs. Are you kidding me? So back to the lab I went to be stuck yet once again! I joked with her that if I had to come back again that I was going to stick her! Guess that is all for now. I go back to the dr. August 6th and then I start the every 2 weeks appointments. Can't remember if I mentioned it before but we are going to have a 4D ultrasound next Saturday so we will be able to see her one more time before she graces us with her presence.m I'll post pics after next weekend! She will be here before we know it and we can't wait to love on this baby girl! :)
