So Far Behind I'll Never Catch Up!!!

Well I am more than behind but now that we have 2 kids I am always behind so I might as well just get used to it! It is the new state of life and I am ok with it! In fact I am loving it! Whoever said that having 2 is just as easy as have 1 is a BOLD FACE LIAR!!! It is constantly constant but in a good way. There is never a dull moment around our house...especially if you know anything about Deacon. He is non-stop and full of life. Not sure what I even blogged about last so I will just start with where we are right now! Deacon is four and will start Pre-K in the fall and is SO excited about it. Every time we pass by the place he will be going he tells me, "momma there is my new school!" It is an all-day Pre-K which we think will be wonderful for him. He is more than a little active and we think this will be just the thing he needs to put all of that energy to good use! He will be there for 2 years and will then start 1st grade in the Moore Public Schools. Deacon had his 1st dentist appt. this week and did great. He sat so still why they did x-rays and cleaned them. I was so proud of him. Miss Delaynie is now 4 months old...soon to be 5 months in just about a week. Time is flying by too fast and she is already doing lots of things. She started rolling over at 9 weeks so I think she will be following her big brother in doing things early! In the last month or so she has found her hands and feets, laughed out loud, grasped toys and has started the dreadful teething process. Anything that goes in her hands goes in her mouth! She had her 1st cereal experience and it went great! She loved it and is getting better at keeping it in her mouth and not all over her. We will start fruits and veggies in the next month or so. At her 4 month check up she was 13 lbs 9 oz and was 24" long and was in the 50% for both weight and height. We go back at 6 months for her next check up! We have taken her pics every month like we did with Deacon so that has kept us busy every 3-4 weeks. Guess that is all for now and I will try to do better but no promises!
