It's Almost Over-Summer Semester That Is...

Well the summer semester is coming to a close as of tonight. I take my last final after work today! YAHOO! :) I know my family will be very happy and no more crying breakdowns. I haven't blogged since grandpa died so I thought I would update a little. The Singing Church Women of Oklahoma were invited to sing at the new release of the the Baptist Hymnal in Glorieta last week so me along with about 500 other ladies and spouses made the trek across Amarillo, TX and on into Santa Fe, New Mexico. It was a wonderful trip and a wonderful praise service last Monday as we dedicated the new Baptist Hymnal. I had never been to Glorieta before so it was a wonderful experience. The weather was beautiful and it was just perfect. But oh how I missed my boys! Deacon ended up getting sick last Monday with diarrhea, throwing up and 102 temp, so off to the dr. he and mom went. It had been going around like crazy at the dr. office and she put him on the BRAT diet and by Thursday he was feeling better. On a brighter note Deacon is pretty much potty trained HALLELUJAH! He has even been waking up from his naps and from the night dry which is great! It's been Hello Spinderman and Good Bye pull ups! This will save some serious bucks this next month. Well Wood and I will be celebrating our 5th year anniversay October 4th and we are going on a cruise in T minus 73 days and counting. We can not wait, it is going to be a great time. Mom and dad will be keeping Deacon and I think they are planning a mini-vacation to pass the time for Deacon! I know they will have fun too. Well I better get off here and go study for my test.
